Physical Education

  • Dietetics & Home Management I

    This course enables students to learn and apply practical and purposeful techniques in sewing, food preparation, nutrition science, and consumer decisions. Related projects enhance the process, including food labs, sewing projects, and consumer research.
  • Dietetics & Home Management II

    This advanced course enables students to expand on their knowledge and skill in the areas of sewing, food, and nutrition science. With a more hands on approach, students will be challenged to make practical applications in serving others.
  • Female Strength & Cond. I

    This beginning course provides an introduction into basic principles and methods of strength training. Females will learn how to properly use equipment in the weight room and all safety procedures.
  • Female Strength & Cond. II

    This course provides a continuation of the principles and methods of strength training. In addition to becoming proficient in the core exercises from Strength and Conditioning I, females will be introduced to advanced training techniques.
  • Female Strength & Cond. III

    Strength and Conditioning III provides a continuation of the principles and methods of strength training. Females will be able to demonstrate mastery and improved strength in the core exercises as well as improved proficiency in advanced exercises.
  • Female Strength & Cond. IV

    This course provides a continuation of the principles and methods of strength training. Females will be able to demonstrate mastery and improved strength in the core exercises as well as mastery in advanced exercises.
  • Health I

    Students develop and enhance critical life management skills necessary to make sound decisions and take positive actions for healthy and effective living.
  • Personal Fitness

    In this course, students acquire knowledge of physical fitness concepts, understand the influence of lifestyle, health and fitness, and begin to develop an optimal level of fitness.
  • Sports Injury Management I

    This course integrates concepts of sports medicine and athletic injury management for students to learn how to serve others through an allied health care profession.
  • Sports Injury Management II

    Expands on the areas covered in Sports Injury Management I and it is designed for students interested in fields such as athletic training, physical therapy, medicine, fitness, physiology of exercise, kinesiology, and other sports medicine related fields.
  • Sports Statistics

    This class' main function is to create & maintain a statistical database for our varsity athletic teams.Students will participate in the collection of stats & will learn how to calculate a variety of different stats,as well as basic data entry skills.
  • Strength & Cond. I

  • Team Sports

    This course enables students to acquire basic knowledge of team sports play, develop skills in specified team sports, and maintain or improve health-related fitness.
