Track and Field Eagles soar at the Ft. Lauderdale City Meet

Scott Sherrod
On Tuesday and Wednesday, your CCA Eagle Track and Field teams participated in the Ft. Lauderdale City Championships against the other 8 Schools in Ft Lauderdale.  The Boys team, led by Liam Marley, Tyson Danheiser, and Yohan-Li Louis, finished in First Place, winning the championship for only the second time in the 13-year history of the meet.  The Girls team, led by Kyara Belfort, Trinity Jean, Jessica Rotger, and Harper Thomerson, finished in second place, just behind St. Thomas.  The runner-up finish marks the best finish ever by a Calvary Girls team in the City Meet.
